As part of my senior Capstone project, I helped develop the Tunnel Device, an alternative solution in Power-line Communication (PLC) that earned our team second place and recognition at the competition. Our device streamlines PLC technology, which transmits data through existing power lines rather than internet infrastructure, making it as simple as plug-and-play. By addressing key implementation challenges, we created a secure, high-speed, and cost-effective alternative to traditional data transmission methods. I focused on the technical development, leading hardware testing, simulation, and PCB troubleshooting to bring our prototype to life.
